Learn how to create pottery with your own hands. Hand building pottery uses slabs of clay to create functional pieces like mugs, vases, pinch pots, and trays. Getting your hands dirty is a must in this class.

We offer four-week classes on: Tuesdays from 4:00-6:00PM
Sessions start the first Tuesday of every month.
Kids can choose classes in pottery for their age group. Classes correspond to the school year: beginning in Sep and ending in May (no classes in Dec).

LEARN THE BASIC TECHNIQUES OF WHEEL THROWING. BE INTRODUCED TO THE PROCESS OF CENTERING, SHAPING CYLINDERS, AND CREATING SMALL BOWLS, CUPS AND VASES. EACH CLASS BEGINS WITH A DEMO, FOLLOWED BY CAREFUL INSTRUCTION WITH AN INSTRUCTOR.
